_CFGetHostUUIDString Final Extension FIX
There is now final extension fix from #leopard @ irc.osx86.hu.
You can get it here.
Unpack it an place it to /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/MasOS/
If you used my workaround please restore your backup of NetworkInterfaces.plist.
This fix will set IOBuiltin = true for all network devices.

This fixes Error 35, but InterfaceNamer still has problems during boot which are probably the cause an 1 minute timeout delay (1 minute hang) at each boot:
configd[14] InterfaceNamer: timed out waiting for IOKit to quiesce
configd[14] InterfaceNamer: Busy services :
configd[14] InterfaceNamer: To Be Filled By O.E.M. [1]
configd[14] InterfaceNamer: To Be Filled By O.E.M./AppleACPIPlatformExpert [3]
(...)
Btw, this 1 minute "hang" only exists with some machines. Probably depands on information in BIOS. Maybe bootloader could "overrule" BIOS with correct working information.

This great! It works for most of the errors. I still however have
localhost socketfilterfw[38]: _CFGetHostUUIDString: unable to determine UUID for host. Error: 35

First of all thank you for this work. Coupled with Chameleon and Boot 132 I not have a perfect install on my X61. :-) I was just wondering if you could the source and / or details of how to compile the IONetworkingFamily kext from Apple. I haven't any real experience compiling kext's, it seems to fail with dependencies errors on my setup.
